I want to brag about my new buddy Kevin,the manager of Alpha Tire. I was traveling from Florida to Kentucky when my old Volvo developed an electrical problem. AAA got me to Kevin's shop about an hour before closing on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We quickly identified an alternator problem, but parts were unavailable. By that time all the rental-car agencies in the area were closed, and I was desperate to avoid spending several nights waiting for parts to become available on Tuesday. In an extraordinary display of customer service and compassion, Kevin drove me to the Atlanta airport and stayed with me for more than two hours , until I finally rented about the last vehicle available, a 12-passenger van ! I got home late, but was enormously relieved to be home and able to care for my elderly mom, and just to be off the road. I just spoke with Kevin long-distance, and he's diagnosed the problem and has scheduled the repair to be completed in a very short time, despite having cars backed-up for service, and at a reasonable price. I worked in dealership service department for many years, and I know that customer service like Kevin's is rarely encountered. His expertise and commitment to his customers is incomparable. I have a good service provider here in Lexington, but I still envy the drivers of McDonough Georgia having such meticulous autocare available just down the street. Thank you again, Kevin !

Alpha Tire and Kevin are fanastic to deal with. He goes out of his way to make doing business with Alpha super convenient! Kevin personally inspected a used car I was about to buy which gave me more peace of mind. He didn't have to do it but that is who he is!! He takes care of my 2 vehicles and I trust his advice.

I won't ever be taking any of my vehicles to this shop again. I took my truck to this shop and was told I needed new brakes. I went ahead and had them replace the front pads and turn the rotors. This was the first brake job on my truck. They turned my rotors so much, they machined them out of spec and they warped within a week. I was also told my back brakes needed to be done. I took them home and took the wheels off and there was at least 50% left on the pads. I was flat lied to and the sheer incompetence to not check the spec on the parts you're working on?! I will never trust this shop with my vehicles again. UPDATE: Since my last review I was contacted by the owner of the shop. He asked that I bring my truck back in along with the rotors I had purchased to install myself, so they could make everything right. I am extremely happy with the work that was done today. I'm not sure my truck has stopped any smoother. I have tremendous respect due to the fact that the Owner of this facility realized that something was done wrong and went out of his way to correct the mistake. As for my previous review... I was having a bad day when I wrote it so I kinda took it out on them.

Love the guys at Alpha Tire they have helped me with all my vehicles through the past couple of years and i would have to say EXCELLENT SERVICE. You guys are the best.

These guys are simply awesome! Blew an engine on Rt 75 and AAA towed me here. Turned out  I blown the engine in my Chrysler Sebring (2.7L is a real problem). Kevin worked tirelessly to provide me a number of options regarding engine replacement and stored the car for over 10 days no charge. I would not hesitate to use Kevin and his team regularly if i did not live in N Fulton Cnty..

Amazing knowledge and foresight from this business. They were instrumental in getting myself to bring in my Toyota 4Runner. Had I not listened to their instructions and guidance, it is likely my driveshaft would have broken and caused serious potential damage to the vehicle and our safety. Thank you Kevin. All of our truck needs and service will continue to come to Alpha Tire & Auto.

As the owner of two older cars, my wife and I have had our cars serviced by several of the mechanics in town. We've used Alpha Tire a couple of times now, and I can say that this shop is absolutely ONE OF THE BEST IN TOWN - and I plan on using the exclusively in the future. The environment is well-lit and clean, and the customer service is the best and most responsive we've ever had. In one case, we had air conditioning problems, and when I asked if it would be necessary to replace a very expensive part, they recommended not to. Instead, they recommended cleaning the existing parts - saving us a significant amount of money. And they've done that more than once. I can't recommend them enough...

Why 5 stars ? Very simple...that is the most I am allowed to give by YELP. If possible I would give these guys 10 stars. I have been a customer of them years before I became friends with the owner Kevin. I have had them help me from towing a car from 40 miles away, to emergency oil changes, to last minute emission checks. All I have to do is call them, they come pick up my car, change the oil and fix anything else that may be wrong with my vehicle, and by lunch time that car is back at my office. Doesn't get any better than this. The owner is there, and will help you with any questions you got. Kevin not only is a great person outside the work place, but whila at work he takes excellent care of his customers. My main reason why I love Alpha Tires ? Â HONESTY. They will not do anything to your vehicle that doesn't need to be done. 100 % integrity. Feel free to use them for any mechanical issue on your vehicle.Monday I called Kevin and I told him I had a Land Rover vehicle that I wanted to start using again. The vehicle had been parked on my driveway undriven for the last 3 years. Within 2 hours that vehicle was picked up and fixed by them.

I was wary about taking my car to a new shop, but Alpha made me feel at ease quickly. The owner called me and kept me updated a few times a day. They didn't charge me for my battery because it was covered 100% by warranty even though I already told them I didn't know about a warranty. The service was done quick, and the guy working on my car admitted that there were some other minor things he could have done (and charged me for) but they overlooked to keep my bill down. The price was fair. My only complaint was the guy who checked me out was unkempt, and that's just me being a snob. I am an auto repair shop's dream customer. I know nothing about cars. I talked to the owner of another dealership afterwards and he assured me that Alpha treated me right. They have some coupons on their site.
